Loch Ard, Trossachs
Loch Ard, Trossachs September
Loch Ard (from the Gaelic word for “high”) is a small freshwater loch, situated in the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park in Stirlingshire. The loch acts as the source of the River Forth, which widens into the Firth of Forth before joining the North Sea. Sheltered within a valley, it is an excellent location for water sports such as sailing, rowing and kayaking.
