The view at the north end of Glen Etive is dominated by the twin peaks of Buachaille Etive Mor and Buachaille Etive Beag. Both take the form of ridges, on which there are a number of prominent peaks, including two Munros on each: Stob Dearg and Stob na Broige on the former, and Stob Dubh and Stob Coire Raineach on the latter. Consequently Glen Etive is a much-visited destination for walkers and climbers. The appeal of the glen comes primarily from the exceptionally beautiful scenery, at all times of the year.
