River Tay, Aberfeldy
River Tay, Aberfeldy January
Aberfeldy is a small town on the banks of Scotland’s longest river, the Tay, which runs from Loch Tay to the Firth of Tay near Perth. In 1733, General Wade’s Bridge was completed, crossing the river at Aberfeldy. It was the first and, for a number of years, the only way to cross the Tay by road. This was enormously influential on the growth of the town, and the bridge is still used today.
